Travel to Paris from the early 1800s to today in a program that bridges passion and discovery. Join cellists Louise Dubin, Julia Bruskin and Philippe Muller, and pianist John Novacek, at this concert celebrating the release of the Passages album on Bridge Records. Novacek and Dubin will perform the NYC premiere of Louise Heritte-Viardot’s unknown Romantic sonata, and selections by Chopin, Koechlin and more from Passages. Julia Bruskin joins Dubin for all of the cello duos on the album, including Caprices by living composer Philippe Hersant, an unpublished duo by Fauré, and their world premiere recording of Auguste Franchomme's Nocturne Op. 14/2. Philippe Muller joins for more duos and the world premiere performance of a cello ensemble work by Franchomme. 7 pm concert followed by reception with the artists in the garden.
